The Simple Step-By-Step Process To Designing and Launching Your Business Online

alli-blog

Hi, I'm Alli.

I help passionate entrepreneurs, like you, create a strategic brand and website that stands out to your dream clients so you can run a successful business online.

My ultimate goal is to empower you with the tools you need to live your best life by doing the work your love.

You want to get your business online so that you can reach your audience and actually start making money in your business.

So why does it have to be so complicated and difficult? Why can’t it just be simple?

I hear you…

Figuring out the steps to do it though and in what order can be truly overwhelming.

But it doesn’t have to be. I’ve got a plan for you to get your business online simply and strategically and the best part is — it’s free.

And while that all sounds great, navigating the steps to make it happen can sometimes be ominous.

In fact, The #1 reason people can’t get their businesses up and running is that they don’t know where to even start…or what to do next.

Instead of knowing what to work on and when, they sit down and either stare at a blank screen or head to google, type in “start a business” and spend the rest of their day reading articles and watching videos trying to figure it out.

Sound familiar?

I know this because years ago when I started my business this was what I did too. I had to learn the hard way, but you don’t have to.

After helping dozens and dozens of other entrepreneurs create their brands and websites, I’ve streamlined the process of designing and launching into 4 phases.

Phase 1: Business Setup

Phase 1 is your business setup because the first thing you need to do is set up your business with a solid foundation.

It would be horrible to have wasted your precious time creating a bunch of content that in the end doesn’t get you clients because you didn’t lay the foundational groundwork needed.

So, in this first phase, you’ll complete tasks like:

  • Purchasing your domain
  • Setting up your business email
  • Creating your social media accounts,
  • Deciding where you’ll host your website

In this phase, you’ll also create a pre-launch strategy so that you’re growing your audience while you build your business. That way when you do launch, you won’t hear crickets!

By starting your business with a solid and strategic foundation, you’ll be off to a great start.

Phase 2: Branding

The second step is branding. The goal is to create your brand in a way that captures the heart of your business and aligns with your dream clients.

Sure, making a logo can be as simple as typing out your business name in a font that you love, but that’s not the way to create an effective brand.

What you need to do is find the connection point between you and your dream client and use that point to connect with them through your visuals and messaging.

In this phase you’ll complete tasks like pinpointing your brand personality and voice, using color and shape psychology to choose design elements so that you can make your audience feel a specific way, build your brand system, and apply it to everything you’re creating.

Phase 3: Content Creation

Next, you focus on your content (including both your copy and your visuals). This is phase 3 — content creation.

As a business owner, your ability to connect your brand visuals and your copy to the desires of your dream client is the key to your success online.

So in this phase, you’ll complete tasks like researching your market, doing keyword research, learning how to write online to convert your viewers, and how to choose and optimize your images.

At the end of this phase, you’ll have all of your content ready to go so that you can easily drop it into your website builder and social media posts.

Phase 4: Website Building

And that leads us to the last phase — phase 4, which is website building.

Creating a website seems like a daunting task, I know, but it doesn’t have to be!

There are so many free and easy-to-use page builders to help you these days.

And when I say website, that doesn’t mean you need a massive multipage site. A simple one-pager or landing page for one offer is all you need to get your business going.

Now if you’re thinking, “Alli. I’m going to need a bit more hand-holding and specific direction on the tasks to get this all done.”

Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

I took these 4 phases and broke them into 30 daily tasks so that you can check off one task each day to simply and strategically launch (or relaunch) your business online — in just one month.

Inside of my 30 days to launch Playbook I’ve paired each task with a prompt where I share exactly what to do and the tools you need to do it (don’t worry — all free tools) so that you can actually GET IT DONE.
