Are you more of a visual learner?

Here’s a video version of this post.

Why NOW is a great time to start your business

With the majority of people being stuck at home right now due to the global pandemic we’re experiencing, many are wondering if now is the right time to focus on building their business.

Well, I say, “Yes!” There has never been a better time than now.

This time that we have should not just be about surviving. It should also be about thriving. I know you agree because we all want to be living our best life, not just simply getting by, right?

Let’s have a look at online vs. offline businesses

Creating an offer that you can sell online is the perfect thing you can do right now since we’re unable to perform services face to face.

Coaches, consultants and other service providers who were already running their businesses online haven’t experienced too much change, if at all (except for their children and partner now being home alongside them, of course.)

In fact, many of those businesses are booming.

Thanks to the technology we have available today, businesses that operate online have been able to keep chugging right along despite this devastating situation.

More time

Something I often hear emerging entrepreneurs say is that they don’t have the time to work on their business.

Maybe you’ve been wanting to start your business for a while now, but your day job keeps getting in the way.

But rather than having this “side-hustle” going on that everyone keeps talking about, you spend your evenings and weekends trying to fit in the client work you currently have, making your family dinner, shuffling your kids to various activities, doing laundry…the list goes on and on.

Well, now that you’re stuck at home, with nowhere to go, you have the opportunity to focus, do the work, and bring your dream business to life.

More deals and incentives

When there’s an economic downturn, there are also some really great deals and incentives to be found.

I’ve seen an outpouring of businesses offering reduced pricing or added bonuses that could greatly help you as you take the leap if you’re on a budget.

Another benefit of having an online business is that overhead costs are very low as opposed to having a physical office. All you really need are things that you probably already have — a computer, a phone, a camera (which most likely you have on your phone) and an internet connection.

More motivation

If you’ve been directly impacted and have lost your job or have to take unpaid leave, you may REALLY have the extra time right now to just go for it.

And by not having current employment or possibly a job to go back to, you have the added bonus of some serious motivation to push harder, move more quickly, and to find solutions to make your business work.

Start your business while social distancing

If you’re thinking, “Yeah, but I’m scared, I don’t see myself as an expert, My niche is saturated, or I don’t have the budget,” I hear you, but I also think it’s time that you stop making excuses and start moving forward.

And to help you do just that, I’ve put together a free LIVE workshop taking place next week, April 13-17th called “Start Your Business While Social Distancing

In the workshop, you’ll clarify 5 essential things you need to have in place in order to get your business off the ground with a solid foundation from the start.
